West of Scotland
The next meeting for the West of Scotland Support Group will be held on Saturday 13th November from 10am to 12pm. Venue to be confirmed.
The West of Scotland group has been established since June 2008. Debbie Barnett, a mum of two girls with Tourette Syndrome (TS) is the co-ordinator of the group. They have held 6 meetings in Glasgow with people living with TS.
These meetings have been a chance to speak with other people affected by TS in a friendly, non judgemental and comfortable environment to share information/ideas, give mutual support, plan local events and raise awareness of TS in the area.
After a fundraising effort including some of our members and their families completing a sponsored West Highland Way walk in August and the Loch Ness 10K the group were able to organise a subsidised visit to XScape, Braehead, Glasgow for a family day in October 2008. A number of people also met in December at TGI Friday's for a meal.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 25th August at The Albany Centre, Ashley Street, Glasgow, G3 6DS from 7pm - 9pm.
